About me
Anelize Rivadeneira is a Double Board Certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the American Nurses Credentialing Center. In high school, she fell in love with nursing, was in a health careers vocational program, and graduated as a certified nursing assistant. She later received her Associate in Science Degree in Nursing (ASN) from Bunker Hill Community College in 2013; Her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Southern New Hampshire University in 2017 and her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from The University of South Florida with a subspecialty in Occupational Health in 2022.
She began her career at a FQHC in Massachusetts as a staff nurse and became the immigration physical nurse and Vaccine/VFC manager. When she moved to Florida in 2016, she worked at the Family Medicine Residency Clinic at Orlando Health Bayfront as a Nurse Team lead; she then worked inpatient in their inpatient rehabilitation center. She then joined CAN Community Heath as an RN, then became the Nurse Manager at their Tampa location until she finished Graduate School and became a provider at CAN caring for patients living with HIV, providing PrEP and nPEP care, treating Hepatitis B and C, STIs as well as providing Primary Care to their Mission patients.
She is fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish and is passionate about breaking language barriers as a provider and caring for the underserved community. She is a member of the Association of Nurses in AIDS Care Tampa Chapter (ANAC) and Tampa Bay Advanced Practice Nurses Council. She is also a credentialed HIV Specialist by the American Academy of HIV Medicine and a current member.
