Inclusive Care Group (ICG) is a progressive and patient-centered healthcare practice dedicated to providing comprehensive and affirming care to the LGBTQIA+ community, individuals living with HIV, and those seeking preventive care such as PrEP and PEP services. Founded by Dr. Antonio Luis, a board-certified internal medicine physician with expertise in HIV/AIDS care and gender-affirming medicine, ICG is committed to health equity, accessibility, and community advocacy.
Position Summary
We are looking for dedicated Primary Care Physicians (MD/DO) with experience or a strong interest in LGBTQIA+ health, HIV/AIDS treatment, and gender-affirming care. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to practice patient-centered medicine while supporting marginalized communities and advancing healthcare accessibility.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient population, with a focus on LGBTQIA+ health, HIV prevention and treatment, and gender-affirming care.
- Manage acute and chronic conditions while prioritizing preventive healthcare strategies.
- Offer HIV/PrEP/PEP services, including diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management.
- Conduct gender-affirming care, including hormone therapy and patient counseling.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, mental health professionals, and care coordinators, to ensure holistic and coordinated patient care.
- Educate patients on preventive health, wellness, and disease management.
- Advocate for inclusive and stigma-free healthcare, ensuring all patients receive respectful and affirming medical services.
- Participate in ICG Foundation community initiatives, such as free HIV/STI testing, health education, and outreach programs.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Active Florida Medical License or eligibility to obtain one.
- Experience or strong interest in LGBTQIA+ healthcare, HIV/AIDS treatment, and gender-affirming medicine.
- AAHIVM HIV Specialist Certification (preferred or willing to obtain).
- Strong commitment to health equity, diversity, and inclusion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a safe and welcoming healthcare environment.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
