Our Process
Cannabinoids are the therapeutic components of cannabis. There are cannabinoid receptors throughout the human body primarily in the central nervous and the immune system but also in the gastrointestinal, endocrine, and hematopoietic systems. Cannabinoids bind to these receptor sites with the ultimate goal of homeostasis, or balance of the human body and its systems. Studies suggest the possibility of multiple therapeutic roles for medical cannabis.
Step 1

Conditions
In November 2016, Floridians approved Amendment 2 with an astounding 71% of the vote. So what does this mean? Amendment 2 allows the use of medical marijuana for debilitating medical conditions.
The law also states cannabis can be used to treat “other conditions of the same kind or class.” What does this mean? This means that a qualified physician can approve the use of medical cannabis for other conditions in which they feel the benefits would outweigh the risks. This allows the physician to determine if cannabis would be appropriate for a patient suffering from symptoms that are similar to those listed and are otherwise qualified.
